Climate change is the biggest issue facing mankind. It is therefore, the biggest issue facing business - small, medium and large - local, national and international - today, in ten years, in 100 years.
Andrew Woodward is an active member of an international social movement that is greatly concerned about the threat to the planet and inaction by many governments, businesses and communities. Like a growing number of people, he is doing something about it - professionally and personally.
Andrew has over 25 years of experience in private and public sector marketing, advertising, communications and corporate affairs, living and working in Australia and internationally. Andrew is undertaking a Master of Environmental Management at the University of New South Wales - one of the world’s leading climate change and clean energy schools. He also holds a Master of Business and Technology from the same university.
Andrew is a member of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership Corps, a group dedicated to unleashing a global cultural movement demanding action on the climate crisis. Andrew is one of thousands of trained people who educate their business colleagues, communities, interest groups and elected officials every year.
Andrew believes that action on climate change redefines sustainable competitive advantage for business. It also gives a whole new meaning to corporate social responsibility. He calls is “Responsibility Plus”. Andrew has written a manifesto on action on climate change.
